I've known since I was nine years old that the only thing I wanted to do in life was to be a wife and a mother. The journey getting me from there to here has been more than I ever imagined it would be. I've experienced joys better than I had thought possible and sorrows deeper than I wanted to know. Through it all God has proven to be faithful and has blessed me with the very desire of my heart: a husband whom I love with everything in me, four completely amazing (and completely individual!) step-children and one very wonderful baby boy. Through it all I have learned that God is God alone and I live my life to praise Him!
My completely amazing husband, Monte. It took just one (non)date for me to fall completely head-over-heels in love with him, and each and every day since then I find myself falling deeper in love! He is a wonderful husband, a loving father to our children, a great fisherman, a computer geek, a traveler, a lover of all things salty and my fun loving goofball. Each and every day with him is an exciting adventure full of surprises!
Claire Bear
My sweet and ever-so-smart step-daughter, Claire. She loves to read and write, to spend time with her friends, to play her trombone and to immerse herself in anything to do with acting! Being the oldest, she has that "bossy" thing down to a T. :) She is my fun-loving, sweet girl who I love like crazy! She makes this step-mom VERY proud of all that she does!
Iain Boy
My oldest step-son, Iain. He is so creative and incredibly smart. He lives and breathes baseball, especially anything to do with the Phillies! He is super athletic and spends his free time playing with his brother in the yard. He also loves to team up with Ellis and torture Colin! :) Iain's bright ideas can make any day amazing and I just love him so much!
Ellis Trellis
My middle-step-son, Ellis. He is the guy who is always outside, whether it be riding his bike in the middle of the blazing hot summer, or building forts and making holes in the ice in the cold of winter. He is incredibly smart and has a smile that will light up an entire room. Even when he's getting in trouble, it takes everything to not laugh at him! He's definitely my little charmer and I just love him!
Colin
My youngest step-son, Colin. Known for his love of all things involving pretend guns and knives - he loves playing hunting and wars! He also loves being read to, cuddling and asking every question under the sun. He never ceases to amaze me and I will never cease to love him completely!
Ethan Bennett
Our sweet baby boy with a personality that is all his own! He loves making noise and hearing himself "talk", but nothing makes him smile like playing with his older brothers and sister. He is abundantly loved by all of us ... and he knows it!
